I scanned my next eBook to promote. I saw this gem:
How to Escape a 9-5 Job that You Hate
Buy it if you want to leave your current job.
Sometimes, you want to desperately leave a job you hate as a form of escaping misery. I encountered this depressing situation a few times in my life. I desperately wanted to escape depressing jobs in warehouses and I horribly hated my job as a glorified secretary. Not because I hated the secretary job but because I despised the high volume of responsibility and pressure doing something I hated doing. Did I dream of answering 3 phone lines, checking multiple email inboxes and trying to answer questions about software I knew nothing about? Nope. Looking like a complete idiot to people felt humiliating but taught me a valuable lesson; if you hate a job to its core, never hesitate to get up and walk out one day, unannounced. Life is too short to be depressed. Plus, 7 billion human beings living on planet earth easily fill all vacated jobs.
But drilling deeper, you learn how the best way to be happy, healthy, wealthy and liberated is through the concept of seeing blogging as a gateway to freedom, versus being an escape from some miserable situation in life. Totally different energy. Escaping a life you hate drips heavy with fear, because you need to get away from something you fear experiencing, or embracing. Carrying that heavy fear pretty much destroys your blogging campaign because fear is force, force negates and you cannot outrun something you fear manifesting, again and again and again. This is why clinging to the escape energy forever is genuinely a bad idea. No one succeeds by trying to escape something forever but those who face fear, feel fear and release it, soon discover dreaming big dreams as a gateway to a new life is the way to live your dreams.
Stop framing blogging as a way to escape your miserable job, because if you blog to avoid a life you hate, you will fail 100% of the time. Too heavy of a burden to bear, fear, resistance and aversion is. If however you see blogging as a gateway to a more enjoyable, freeing life, your energy immediately shifts from what you want to avoid, to what freedom you see in front of you. See blogging as a gateway to freedom versus being an escape from pain and suffering, to change your blogging course quickly. Lose the burden of fear and begin blogging because you enjoy blogging and see this vehicle as a fun, freeing way to serve people generously and to live your dreams. Bloggers who go full time see this tool as a way to have fun, to feel fulfilled and to help human beings. Pros do not give most energy to trying to outrun anything. Pros give their energy to moving toward a fun, freeing, liberating life, through the generous act of rendering valued service.
Blogging is not a strategy from cowering away from the life you hate. Blogging is a channel of communication, an agent of service, for the dream life you wish to enjoy, one day. See blogging as a treasured gateway, through which you enjoy life and serve people. Eventually, you will be living your dreams as you see this blogging journey through for many thousands of hours. Believe in yourself. Believe in your blog. Use your blog as a gateway to something fun, rewarding and freeing.
