In August, TUNE teamed up with
our partners at Publisher Discovery
to present a new webinar on expanding partnership programs. Titled “Taking
Ownership of Publisher Growth,” the webinar featured Brian Marcus, vice
president of global marketing at TUNE, and Chris Tradgett, the co-founder and
CMO of Publisher Discovery.
In the webinar, Brian and Chris cover three areas that marketers
face with partnerships:
- Biggest barriers to publisher growth
- Building an operating rhythm for publisher growth
- Taking ownership of publisher growth
First, Brian and Chris break down these barriers to help marketers more easily overcome them.
While some barriers, like relying on the same publishers, are
obvious, others are not. For example, some marketers may not realize that one
of the things holding back their program growth could be the publishers
themselves. If you’re spending too much time qualifying sites for affiliate
programs, that leaves little time for optimizing your own program. And if you’re
devoting too many resources to educating new publishers on monetization models,
that’s money down the drain.
In the webinar’s second part, Brian and Chris present strategies for building a cycle of growth. They cover tactics for planning, managing, and optimizing a partner program.
